दोस पराए देखि करि, चला हसन्त हसन्त,
अपने याद न आवई, जिनका आदि न अंत
Dosh paraya dekh kar, chala hasant hasant,
Apaney yad na aovae, jiska adi na ant
Literal meaning: After seeing the evil of others, we move with laugh. Never try to see own evil, which has neither start or end.
Explanation: We are always happy in finding the mistakes / evil of others. Not only we find the errors in others, but enjoy it. We never try to find the short comings in our self. Since we are very close to ourselves, therefore it we try to find the error in self, it will ne unlimited. There will be no end.
It is very easy to find out the mistake of others. The moral of dohey is you should try to find the errors / evil in your self and try to improve on it. Do not waste your time in laughing on the mistakes of others.
