निंदक नियरे राखिए, ऑंगन कुटी छवाय,
बिन पानी, साबुन बिना, निर्मल करे सुभाय।
Nindak neyare rakheye, aangan kuti chawai
Bin pani sabun bina, nirmal kare shabhav

Literal meaning: The persons who criticizes you, must be given a beautiful place inside your house. This will wash away your bad habits without using soap and water.

Explanation: Some people are very critical in nature and by the grace of God, they are able to find out even the very minute error / mistake. Furthermore they do not hesitate in pointing out the same.
If these types are persons are near you, then they will tell you all your short comings. If you take it in a right sprit, then you will improve.

On the other hand there are some persons, who are hesitant in pointing out the mistake. these types of persons will not help you in improvement.

Just imargin an incident that you are going to a party, wearing two different color of shoes. Your friend noticed the same but did not tell you, because you may feel bad. Think, what will happen in the party. These types of friends are no good for you.
On the other hand a criticizer will immediately point out this mistake and you will be able to correct it.

The same example is valid for out habit and actions. A criticizer will make you a better person by pointing out your mistakes / errors.
