कबीरा ते नर अंध है, जो गुरु कह्ते और
हरि रुथे गुरु थोर है, गुरु रुथे नहि थोर.  
Kabira tey nar andg hai, jo guru kahtey aur
Hari ruthey guru thor hai, guru routhey nahi thour
Literal meaning: Kabir says that the people who do not understand Guru are blind. If God is displeased then Guru is there for salvation, but if guru is displeased then there is on one for salvation.

Explanation: Kabir gave lot of importance to Teacher / Guru / Guide / Mentor. He always kept Teacher above God. Because until and unless some one is there to tell you about God, you will never understand it.

If the God is unhappy, then also teacher can tell you the way of pleasing him. Similarly if something has gone wrong, then a teacher can guide you the way to correct it. But imagine if there if no teacher, then it will be impossible to correct the wrong one.
