General Description :
'Allium sativum' is commonly known as garlic. This is like a grass having bulb under the soil.
The bulb is of a compound nature, consisting of numerous bulblets
, known as '
clove of garlic' and are the main edible part.
However leaves, stems and flowers are also edible.
Garlic has a strong pungent flavor and it's commonly known as
"Lahsun" in India. It is also known as herbal "wonder drug".
