150 gm of pilled green peas (matar ka Dana)
2 onion
4 Potato
6 cloves of garlic
2 " Ginger
1 Spoon Cumin (Zira) seed
1 Cinnamon (Dal-Cheni) stick
1 Black Cardamom (Elichi)
1/2 Spoon Tamarin
1 Spoon Dhaniya powder
Oil
salt as per taste
1) Cut the potatoes into 4-6 pieces.
2) Make the paste of the green peas. Fry it with little oil in a pan till it stops sticking to the vessel.
3) Make the paste of onion, garlic, Ginger, Cumin, Cinnamon, Cardamom (masala paste)
4) Take 1 spoon oil in a vessel and put the paste of masala and add tamarin and dhaniya powder. Fry till it leaves the oil.
5) Add paste of green peas into it and stir for 1-2 minutes. Add pieces of potatoes and leave it for 1-2 minutes. Add sufficient amount of water and cook it (in pressure cooker) for 8-10 minutes.
6) Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
